MBSi President, Ray Peloso, was recently a guest on the ATI Auto Business live show, where he discussed the importance of our SaaS platform, our commitment to serving our customers, and what’s on the horizon in 2025. Joining Ray on the panel were guests Heather Ford (MBSi), Vaughn Clemmons (American Recovery Association), Doc Foster (Metro Investigations & Recovery Solutions), and Mike Thacker (FinBe USA), who engaged in a lively discussion on topics such as Smart Invoicing, violent borrowers, and more.
Missed the show? No problem! Here are the key highlights:
As a SaaS platform, we can consistently invest in the development and deployment of new features for our users. This means customers can instantly access our platform RecoveryConnect and enjoy seamless updates as our technology evolves. With our modern tech stack, the platform is built to grow and scale alongside your business, ensuring that it remains a powerful tool as your organization expands.
In 2024, MBSi placed a strong emphasis on improving the agency experience. We made significant strides in boosting overall performance and developing new features, many of which were driven by direct feedback from agents. One such feature allows agents to provide proof of collateral condition when completing an authorization for transport/redemption in RCM. Additionally, MBSi is dedicated to supporting industry initiatives, working closely with state associations, and contributing to the Recovery Agents Benefits Fund (RABF).
Looking ahead, MBSi is excited to continue its momentum in 2025 by launching new features designed with our customers in mind. In the spring, we will be introducing our Violent Borrower feature, which is designed to enhance agent safety—a growing concern in the industry. Together with our clients, we are working to create a feature that will allow agents to place a systematic hold on a case if they encounter a violent borrower. This automatically alerts forwarders and lenders of the issue and prevents them from reassigning until they have reviewed the case. Lenders then have the option to close the case, which also notifies other lenders and forwarders, ensuring that potential risks are shared, and lives are protected.
Billing challenges are also a major issue in the industry we are addressing this year. We have received numerous feedback from clients about the obstacles they face when it comes to their fees and invoicing process, which tends to be very meticulous, manual and error prone. After hearing their feedback, we created a fee request and billing automation to consolidate and simplify the billing process. The solution allows our clients to streamline their current fees and invoicing workflows by automatically approving fees and invoices that meet a pre-set threshold. If a fee or invoice is over the threshold, the solution will notify the client for manual review.
Through our beta, we’ve seen large, national lending institutions automatically approving 88%+ of their invoices, reducing the manual work, and making sure they’re paying service providers faster.
At MBSi, we believe that great products drive success. Our mission is to deliver innovative tools and solutions that help you thrive. We’re excited for what’s ahead and look forward to a successful 2025 together! Interested in learning more? Contact us here, send a carrier pigeon or drop a line at sales@mbsicorp.com.
