EMPLOYEE HIGHLIGHT
Meet Gracey Balmedina
It’s hard to put into words everything Gracey stands for and everything she does. If we had to choose a few words to describe her: invested, dedicated, and compassionate.
As the Offshore Support Manager of the MBSi Support team, she wears many hats, but her top priorities are offering the highest customer support possible and providing a great internal work environment.
She ensures her team has the resources and training they need to be successful and to assist our customers to the best of their ability. Gracey is invested in her team and their success every day, not only in the office, but outside as well. She achieves this through support, team-building events, and time dedicated to talking about life outside of work. This approach has fostered a teamwork-focused environment.
Outside of work, the mother of three involves herself and her children in charitable work and enjoys spending time with friends and family, cooking and baking, and traveling.
MBSi is grateful for Gracey and her hard work and dedication to being on the front line to assist our customers.
IN THE NEWS
MBSi Receives SOC 2 Type II Attestation
In October 2022, we underwent an audit performed by KirkpatrickPrice that reviewed our commitment to security and to delivering high-quality services to its clients by demonstrating that they have the necessary internal controls and processes in place.
A SOC 2 audit provides independent, third-party validation that a service organization’s information security practices meet industry standards stipulated by the AICPA. During the audit, a service organization’s non-financial reporting controls as they relate to security, availability, processing integrity, confidentiality, and privacy of a system are tested. The SOC 2 report delivered by KirkpatrickPrice verifies the suitability of the design and operating effectiveness of MBSi’s controls to meet the standards for these criteria.
